We have just returned to the UK after 10 idyllic days at
Roanna.
This was our second visit and three times longer than our first!! We are from
the cold Northern hemisphere
and
words cannot describe how we feel when we arrive in the paradise that is Praia
do Frances. Next time will be an even longer stay. Thank you to you both for
providing us with bliss!

Arriving there at about 06.00 after a long flight
we were exhausted. The
welcome was warm and friendly,
and the
food and accommodation excellent. We soon discovered that Praia do Frances is
heaven on earth. Walking around the area was like being in a Kew Gardens
greenhouse. The locals we met were wonderful - friendly, interesting, and with a
culture of which they were proud. It was a joy to be there - we hope to return.

What a refreshing formula – Pousada Roanna takes the concept of a bed & breakfast to a whole new level. I cannot speak highly enough about the beautiful interior decor, gardens and welcoming, friendly service. Well located about a 5 minute walk from the beach, Roanna offers large rooms - finished to the highest standards. There may not be 24 hour room service, but almost, certainly there is everything for a comfortable stay. Roanna is perfect if you are visiting Alagoas. The owners have done a fantastic job and created a real gem.
